I discovered this by accident, but it does work. I have suffered for years and when I started having Quinoa for breakfast, I stopped having the migraines. When I stopped for a while they came back. My husband is the one who noticed the connection. I don't care if I have the exact same breakfast every day - I feel great for the first time in years. I no longer need my triptans! I am amazed that one food could make such a difference. I just cook up a batch and keep it in the fridge, then add a little milk and maple sugar before I heat it in the microwave.

I am wondering if, Magnesium relaxes your blood vessels, would it be helpful in reducing the chances of strokes? My mom had 3 strokes, and has left her nearly blind. I worry about this, although I am only 44.
