I admit that quinoa can become quite addictive

My wife has gently pointed out to me that I eat a lot of quinoa and isn’t this getting a bit out of control. I have a quinoa addiction.

There you go, I said it, it’s out there.

When I come home from work (I do have a real job) My first idea for a meal is always based around quinoa. I have become so familiar with it that I can use it in almost any recipe in some way or another. I just find it easy. Some people can do wonders with rice, Others can do the same with pasta. For me quinoa is what I cook with.

I enjoy how easy it is to cook with and I love the texture and taste or quinoa. I even wrote a book of quinoa recipes about a year ago which I sell as an ebook on the internet.

I am currently on the look out for black quinoa that I have heard about but isn’t in the shops here in the UK. It seems a bit over the top to order in from the USA. Well maybe I will. The red quinoa has sold out here at the health food shops so I am back to the standard white/cream qunoa.

No great loss to most people, but to a quinoa enthusiast a huge loss.

It seems that stocks of quinoa flour and quinoa flakes are running low as well. Very dissappointing.
Its not a bad addiction though, is it???

I’m so addicted to quinoa. I only started eating it a month ago and I eat it every day. I didn’t eat it today and felt lethargic, and wondered if I actually AM addicted! So you are not alone!

Checking out your cookbook now, thanks for the post!
